This is my first shot at Music Production and I learned several things:

  • The video quality of my Nikon CoolPix is not amazing.
  • Using MIDI as the audio source is awesome, as you don’t hear any of the background cruft (A/C, Refrigerator, etc).
  • GarageBand has a nice default MIDI Grand piano, although they add some harmonics that don’t quite sound natural to me.
